Field Day

Contesting and Public Service

I also enjoy contesting throughout the year. I like to use FT-8 mostly on 6 meters. I am now working satellites and the Space Station. RTTY, CW, FT-8, SSTV, JT65. I worked with BARC for Summer Field Day 2022. We had our operation in Sylvan Springs. I operated the digital station and the VHF/UHF station. Also check out the DMR console.

 

Field Day

Field Day (Winter and Summer) are my favorite contesting and operating events during the year. Contact a club group in your local area and sign up for operating a station. Field Day. Hams in the Birmingham area are encouraged to attend ARRL Field Day in 2023!

I respond to all QSL requests. I use Logbook of The World, eQSL and paper QSL's with no SASE needed.

 

Central Alabama Simplex Net

The Central Alabama Simplex Net takes place every Sunday night at 8:00 PM local time on the frequency 146.580 Mhz FM. Give us a holler!
